2015 Class Project
FitFest
FitFest Hermosa Beach was a family-friendly urban adventure highlighting gyms and healthy eating options throughout our city. Competitors first completed a 1.8-mile course of fitness challenges at Hermosa Beach gyms and outdoor locations. After finishing the course, healthy food samples awaited them at local restaurants. Participants earned tickets for completing each activity and visiting each restaurant along the way. FitFest culminated at Ocean Bar with a ceremony where we announced the competition winners and awarded prizes. Each ticket received during the day represented a chance to win one of more than 50 prizes donated by local businesses.
