2006 Class Project

The class of 2006 was a learning experience for Leadership Hermosa Beach. The class was extremely divided on three proposed class projects. When a project was eventually selected, almost 50% of the participants ceased showing an interest in the program. As the yearlong program came to a conclusion, the true class project emerged. The project became collaboration with the Leadership Hermosa Beach Alumni to form a Board restructure of the program including: recruitment, candidate selection, project selection and course curriculum. The restructuring helps to ensure that future Leadership Hermosa Beach classes will be comprised of new members who wanted to learn about and participate in the community. The entire program is now led by a board of directors.
