Expectations of Board Members are as follows:
- Abide by the Code of Conduct and Corporate Policies & Procedures
- Attend monthly meetings (1st Monday - August thru July), 2 retreats and provide timely updates to the BoD (during meetings and via Slack)
- Participate actively on the Board by taking a leadership role or being accountable for 2-3 activities throughout the year
- Engage alumni and active members to serve on committees and volunteer for activities
- Highly encouraged to attend Class Orientation, Class Graduation and Monthly Classes (3rd Thursday of the month) - be involved in the Class (in line with county health orders)
- Be a positive champion and advocate for Leadership Hermosa Beach both internally and externally
